Before my PS3 bought the big one, most of my time was split between Battlefield 4 and Grand Theft Auto V. Unfortunately for me, only Battlefield was ready to go big time on the PS4 and I ended up shelving GTA V (and eventually sold it).

This is where my conundrum begins.

Normally I’d not be one to pick up a next-gen copy of a title that I’ve previously played. Call me cheap. Yet in this particular case, I was thoroughly enjoying GTA at the time and had yet to finish the storyline. On top of this, Rockstar has continued to evolve the title with a multitude of multiplayer components.

And then there’s the whole next-gen graphics comparison that has blown my socks off.

So what do I do? I know you’ll likely tell me that it’s my money to spend, but I’m in a tough place. The cheap part of me has told me to shove off. It’s says this ship sailed when my PS3 went to console heaven.

Yet the part of me that appreciates a solid title is telling me otherwise.

Are you picking up the next-gen GTA V? And if not, what has you withholding your hard-earned cash? I’d like to know.
