GTA V Goes PS4 – Do I?

Before my PS3 bought the big one, most of my time was split between Battlefield 4 and Grand Theft Auto V. Unfortunately for me, only Battlefield was ready to go big time on the PS4 and I ended up shelving GTA V (and eventually sold it).

This is where my conundrum begins.

Normally I’d not be one to pick up a next-gen copy of a title that I’ve previously played. Call me cheap. Yet in this particular case, I was thoroughly enjoying GTA at the time and had yet to finish the storyline. On top of this, Rockstar has continued to evolve the title with a multitude of multiplayer components.

And then there’s the whole next-gen graphics comparison that has blown my socks off.

So what do I do? I know you’ll likely tell me that it’s my money to spend, but I’m in a tough place. The cheap part of me has told me to shove off. It’s says this ship sailed when my PS3 went to console heaven.

Yet the part of me that appreciates a solid title is telling me otherwise.

Are you picking up the next-gen GTA V? And if not, what has you withholding your hard-earned cash? I’d like to know.

The Destiny Codes Came from the Moon

It was the Wizard the came from the Moon? My bad.

Destiny Code Redemption

Anywho, my point is the team at Bungie has been papering redemption codes all over the place this past year in an effort to market Destiny – even a few over the past few days for a total of 26 29 (as of September 12) – so the last thing I’d want is for any of you to miss out.

What makes this even better, is the script you’ll find below when used with the Google Chrome Console pretty much automates the usually slow redemption process! How good is that?

Just open the Bungie Code Redemption Page, enable the console (Crtl-Shift-J or Cmd-Option-J) in Chrome, and paste the following:

var codes=["YKA-RJG-MH9", "3DA-P4X-F6A", "MVD-4N3-NKH", "TCN-HCD-TGY", "HDX-ALM-V4K", "473-MXR-3X9",
"JMR-LFN-4A3", "HC3-H44-DKC", "69P-KRM-JJA", "69P-VCH-337", "69R-CKD-X7L", "69R-DDD-FCP",
"69R-F99-AXG", "69R-VL7-J6A", "69X-DJN-74V", "6A7-7NP-3X7", "6A9-DTG-YGN", "7F9-767-F74",
"RXC-9XJ-4MH", "X4C-FGX-MX3", "A7L-FYC-44X", "X9F-GMA-H6D", "N3L-XN6-PXF"];

var codeField = document.getElementById("text_code");

var i = 0;

var delay = 2500;

function enterCodeLoop () {
setTimeout(function () {
codeField.value = codes[i];
if (i < codes.length) {
}, delay)

I can’t take any credit for the script as I stumbled across it on Reddit, but if any of you can source me the author, I’ll do what’s right.

And if you notice a code that I’ve missed, let me know and I’ll update the script!

Now go punch some Shanks! And maybe a Wizard or two.
